Instructions: Bring the first 5 ingredients to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and boil gently for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, allow frosting mix to cool for 2-3 minutes, then add vanilla. Beat with mixer until frosting is just barely thicker than a glaze, and quickly spread over top and sides of cake. Any remaining frosting may be poured onto a buttered plate or small baking dish, where it will quickly thicken to fudge.
