Instructions: Place butter and sugar in bowl. Using electric mixer, mix butter and sugar together until mixture is light and creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat l minute at medium speed. Combine flour, cocoa, malted milk powder, baking soda and salt; add alternately with water to butter-egg mixture. Pour batter into two buttered and floured 8 in. cake pans. Bake 350 35 min. or until test done. Cook and frost.
