Instructions: Sift dry ingredients together 3 times. Beat egg yolks until thick, fold in dry ingredients. Beat egg whites stiff, add vanilla and fold into mixture. Spread in a shallow 11x16 pan lined with waxed paper.
Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes. Turn out on a damp towel. Remove paper, cut off edges of cake and roll up jelly roll style. When cool, unroll, spread with ice cream and reroll. Chill. Slice and serve with chocolate sauce. Serves 8. Email this Recipe:
