Instructions: Butter a square 9x9x2-inch pan. In large saucepan, heat corn syrup, sugar and salt to boiling. Stir in peanut butter; remove from heat. Stir in cereal, chocolate pieces and vanilla until well coated. Turn into pan; pat mixture evenly with back of buttered spoon or hands. Refrigerate until firm, at least 1 hour. Cut into bars, about 2 1/4x1 1/2-inches.
