Instructions: In a saucepan boil the water and sugar until a golden colour is reached. Add the milk, cream, vanilla, coffee and chocolate and bring to a simmer.
Place the egg and yolk in a bowl and whisk lightly. Pour over the chocolate mixture and whisk. Pour the mixture into ramekins and place in a bain maire and cover with foil. Bake for 25 minutes at 180 C/350 F/gas mark 4 until set and slightly puffed up when ready. Remove from the tin and chill in the fridge. Email this Recipe:
