Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 x egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cup Nature Valley granola, any flavor
slightly crushed
----------------- CHOCOLATE FILLING ----------------
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tbl butter or margarine
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Mix sugar, butter, egg and vanilla thoroughly. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and granola. Press 2/3 the mixture evenly in bottom of pan. Spread with Chocolate Filling (below). Drop remaining granola mixture by teaspoons onto Chocolate Filling. Spread in a swirl design. Bake until light brown

(about 25 minutes).

Cool; then cut into bars about 2 x 1 1/2-inches.

Chocolate Filling:
Heat chocolate chips, milk, butter and salt over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and pecans.

Makes about 32 bars.
