Instructions: In large bowl of mixer cream butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt until fluffy.

Beat in chocolate until well blended.

Stir in flour and nuts.

Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2" apart on well-greased cookie sheet.

Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 10 minutes or until edges are crisp.

Cool 1 minute before removing to rack to cool.

Sift confectioners sugar over tops.

NOTE: To make sandwich cookies fill 2 cookies with 1 to 2 teaspoons Cream Chocolate Frosting (see frosting section).

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
