1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 can evaporated milk (5 oz.)
1 jar marshmallow fluff (7 1/2 oz)
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp vanilla
2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Instructions: Butter sides of a large saucepan. Line a 9X9 baking pan with foil. Butter sides and bottom of foil.

In the saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients. Stir over low heat until blended.

Bring to a boil over moderate heat, being careful not mistake air bubbles for boiling. Then boil slowly for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, to soft ball stage on candy thermometer.

Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate and vanilla until chocolate is melted. Add nuts. Turn into prepared pan. Cool completely. Lift from pan by foil and cut into squares.
