Recipe for Chocolate and Cherry Bread

	LARGE 1 1/2 lb LOAF ----------------
1/3 cup	half-and-half plus
2 tbl	half-and-half
2 x	eggs
3/4 tsp	grated orange rind
1/4 cup	sugar
1 tsp	salt
3 cup	bread flour
1/2 tsp	yeast
3/4 cup	chopped semisweet chocolate
4 oz	dried cherries

Instructions:

Instructions: Soak dried cherries in orange juice for 6 hours or overnight.

Place all the ingredients except cherry mixture and chocolate in the machine in order as directed by manufacturer. Program for basic white bread and press start.

After 33 minutes or when "beep" sounds, add the cherries with any remaining liquid and the chocolate.

This recipe yields 1 loaf.
