Instructions: Saute onions in oil and margarine. In a large bowl, put flour, fried onion
(including oil), egg, salt and pepper. Mix and knead dough. It should be fairly elastic. If necessary add a few teaspoonsful of water. Put mixture into cooking bag and shape into a log. Punch a few holes into the bag and add to the cholent. When serving cholent, remove kugel from bag and serve separately, sliced. Email this Recipe:
