Instructions: In saucepan, combine applesauce, soda and margarine. Heat until margarine melts; cool. Mix sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and flour. Combine with applesauce mixture, then add preserves and nuts. Spoon into well-greased and -floured tube pan. Bake at 325i for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
