2 cup raw finely grated carrots
2 cup raw grated potatoes
2 cup all-purpose flour
2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup seedless raisins
1 cup currants
1/2 cup chopped suet
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix all the above in a large mixing bowl. Fill 3 - 1 quart preserving jars about 1/2 to 3/4 full to allow for rising. Seal and steam in a preserving kettle for 3 hours.
