Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
4 qt Medium cucumbers, unpeeled, sliced 1/4-1/2" thick
6 cup White onions, sliced
2/3 cup Green peppers, sliced
3 x Garlic cloves
1/3 cup Pickling salt
Cracked ice
4 cup Sugar
3 cup Cider vinegar
2 tbl Mustard seed
1/2 tsp Turmeric
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine the cucumbers, onions, green peppers, garlic and salt in a large container, cover with the cracked ice; mix well. Let mixture stand for 3 hours; drain well and remove garlic. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the cucumber mixture. Bring to a boil. Pack cucumbers and liquid into hot jars, leaving 1/2" head space. Adjust lids and process in a boiling water bath (half pints or pints) for 5 minutes. makes 8 pints
