Instructions: * Labeled ready-to-eat, fully cooked Cooks notes:Any style of chutney may be used, or substitute a favorite fruit preserve. Since this glaze can be thick, feel free to reduce the quantity applied.

Preliminaries: Heat oven to 325 degrees. Cover the ham and bake it until internal temperature at center of ham measures 135 degrees on a quick-read meat thermometer not touching any bone or gristle. This should take about 2 hours. Remove ham from oven and draw off any drippings. Raise oven temperature to 375 degrees. Use a small, sharp knife to score ham surface in a diamond pattern. Stud with cloves.

Combine chutney and sugar; spread over top of ham. Combine remaining ingredients; spoon over top of ham. Bake ham, uncovered, until glaze bubbles and internal temperature registers 140 degrees (about 30 to 40 minutes more).

Presentation: Allow ham to stand 15 minutes before slicing.
