Instructions: Separate egg.
Place flour and salt in a bowl, wake a well in the center, add egg yolk, cider and beer and mix well until combined. In a clean bowl whisk egg white until fluffy and fold into batter. Use to fry fish fillets, seafood or fruit fritters (apple, banana etc). Note: Add as much beer or cider as is necessary to obtain the consistency you want. You can add 2 tsp of sugar to batter if it is to be used for sweet dishes. Email this Recipe:
