Instructions: Cream butter. Gradually add powdered sugar and salt. Cream all ingredients well. Add applesauce and vanilla. Gradually add flour. Shape scant teaspoonfuls into little balls. Place on un-greased cookie sheets. Flatten to 1/4 inch with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 325 for 15 to 18 minutes.

Shake mixture of sugar and cinnamon over warm cookies.
