455 gm	potatoes peeled and boiled until tender
455 gm	turnips peeled and boiled until tender
60 gm	butter or margarine
1 tbl	chopped chives
1 x	salt and freshly ground black pepper
	Mash together the hot potatoes and turnips.
	Beat in the butter.
	Stir in the chives and season with plenty of salt and pepper.
