6 tbl Butter
1/2 cup Flour
3 cup Clear chicken broth
2 cup Cooked wild rice
1/2 cup Chopped cooked ham
1/2 cup Chopped carrots
3 tbl Slivered almonds
1/2 tsp Salt
1 cup Half-and-half
Instructions:
Instructions: In large kettle, saute onion in butter. Add flour, stirring constantly until bubbly; gradually stir in broth. Add wild rice, ham, carrots, nuts, and salt; simmer 5 minutes. Add half-and-half and sherry; heat through and serve.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
