Instructions: 1 . Heat oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until onion is golden.
2. Add tomatoes and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in wine and sugar and simmer for 10 minutes longer or until sauce reduces and thickens. Season to taste with black pepper. Makes 1 cup. Email this Recipe:
