Instructions: In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add remaining ingredients except nuts; mix until well blended. (dough will be very stiff)

Stir in nuts. Using lightly floured waxed paper, shape into six 8" X 1" rolls. Chill overnight. Cut into 1/4" slices. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until firm to the touch.

Yield 13 doz.
