Instructions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
For frosting: in saucepan, combine butter, cocoa & milk. Bring to a boil. Stir in vanilla & powdered sugar until frosting reaches proper consistency. Brownies: in another saucepan, combine butter, shortening, coffee & liqueur. Stir, let boil. In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour & sugar. Pour butter-shortening over the flour & sugar in bowl. Add the buttermilk, eggs, baking soda & vanilla. Pour into well buttered 17&1/2-by-11-in. Jelly roll pan. Bake until brownies test done in center. Frost brownies immediately.
