4 cup chicken broth
2 cup fresh asparagus cut in 1/2" lengths except for tips
1/2 cup chopped peeled potatoes
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
Instructions:
Instructions: Bring broth to a boil. Add asparagus and boil for 2 minutes. Drain, reserving broth. Chill asparagus and return broth to pot. Bring broth to boiling, add potatoes and cook for 10 minutes or until soft. Add seasonings and cheese.

Whirl soup in batches in food processor or blender until nearly smooth. Chill.

To serve, mix in asparagus and garnish with tips.

This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
