Instructions: (Note: Cole slaw mix, available in the produce section of the supermarket, is a mix of several colors/kinds of cabbage and carrots. I added 1/2 cup with the flour and 1/2 cup at the "beep.")

Add ingredients to your pan in the order suggested by your ABM manual. Bake on basic white and medium crust settings. Enjoy!

NOTES : Well, here goes....it was delicious! And no one guessed what made it both tasty and colorful!

I have only been on this list several weeks now & I am enjoying it very much. I just had to say that I made the Cole Slaw bread that someone posted (sorry, dont know who) last week. I have to say that out of all the breads that I have made in my ABM it came out just perfect. It was extremely light especially considering that it had 1 cup of whole wheat flour in it. I did make 2 changes to the recipe. I used applesauce instead of the oil & I added 1 T. of gluten for the whole wheat flour. I didnt think that it was going to turn out at all because I was not paying attention to the dough & when it came time to add the cole slaw at the "beep" I noticed that the dough was way too "wet" so I quickly added more flour with 10 min. of kneading time left, but it still was perfect.
