Instructions: A teaspoon is sixty drops. In computing a dose of medicine for children, take a childs age plus one and divide by twelve. For example, if adult dose is one teaspoonful of sixty drops, and childs age is three years.

Three plus one is four: Divide four by twelve, which is one-third: one-third of sixty drops is twenty drops - the correct dose in this instance.

These remedies were taken from an old "Farm Accounting" Record Book.
