Instructions: 1. Beat egg whites until foamy, add salt and cream of tartar. Beat until soft peaks form.
2. Gradually beat in sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff and glossy. 3. Fold in extracts and coconut. 4. Drop from teaspoon onto aluminum foil covered cookie sheet. Put a cherry in the center of each macaroon. 5. Bake in preheated 300 degree oven for about 20 minutes. Makes about 30 macaroons Email this Recipe:
