Instructions: Place pears & next 6 ingredients in a saucepan. Tie allspice & cloves in a cheesecloth bag & add along with cinnamon. Cook slowly until pears are tender & mixture thick, about 1 hour.
Remove spices. Ladle into clean, hot half-pint jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace. Seal. Process for 10 min in a boiling-water bath or steam canner. Email this Recipe:
