Arrowroot Amount: 1 teaspoon
starch Substitution: 1 tablespoon flour or 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch

Baking Amount: 1 teaspoon
powder Substitution: 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and 5/8 teaspoon cream of tartar.

Warning: Never substitute an equal amount of baking soda!
