3 cup Cornmeal self-rising
2 tbl Sugar granulated
1/2 cup Oil
1 cup Onions chopped
1/2 cup Cheese shredded
3 x Peppers hot, chopped,
1 cup Corn cream-style, 8 oz
2 cup Buttermilk
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Combine all ingredients except eggs and buttermilk. Add eggs and buttermilk. Stir. Pour batter into skillet with ovenproof handle. Bake 45-50 minutes.

NOTE: For best results use a cast-iron skillet that is 4 inches deep.
