Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
4 stk margarine room temperature
2 cup sugar
3 cup flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp vanilla
4 cup cornflakes (do not crush)
2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
Instructions:
Instructions: Cream margarine. Add 2 cups sugar and beat well.

Add flour, soda, cream of tartar and vanilla, mixing well.

Fold in cornflakes and pecans. Refrigerate until firm.

Form mixture into large walnut- sized balls and place on cookie sheets.

Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar (or drop from a teaspoon).

Bake at 350 for 12 minutes. Cool slightly on the cookie sheet before removing.

Makes 6 dozen.
