Instructions: Prepare the stuffing. Wash the hens then pat them dry with a paper towel,stuff the hens and place in a baking pan.
In a small saucepan, combine the jelly, cherries, butter, lemon juice, salt and allspice. Cook over low heat until jelly has melted. Reserve 2/3 cup. Brush remaining sauce over the hens and bake at 350: for about 1 1/2 hours or until they are cooked through. Spoon the reserved sauce over the hens and serve.
