Instructions: Boil sugar and water together 5 minutes. Add cranberries and boil gently without stirriing for aobut 3 minutes. Add apple pieces. Continue boiling until all cranberry skins pop open. Add cinnamon and nutmeg. Remove from heat and cool in saucepan. transfer to a bowl. yield 3 cups or 12 to 16 servings.
