CRUST ----------------
3 cup Ralston(r) brand fruit & nut muesli with cranberries crushed to 2 cups
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine or butter, melted
1/4 cup Packed brown sugar
----------------- FILLING ----------------
2 cup Cranberries, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Water
1 tbl Lemon juice
1 can (20 oz.) apple pie filling
Shredded cheese optional
Instructions:
Instructions: To prepare crust, preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In medium bowl combine cereal, margarine and brown sugar. Press cereal mixture firmly into 9-inch fluted tart pan or 9-inch pie plate. Bake 7 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely.

To prepare filling, in medium saucepan over medium heat combine cranberries, sugar, water and lemon juice. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 to 18 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and cool completely. Pour apple pie filling into cooled crust; top with cooled cranberry mixture. Garnish with cheese and mint if desired.
