Instructions: Cut chicken into quaters and remove skin. Place in the slow cooker with onion, cranberries, salt, cinnamon, ginger, orange rind and orange juice.
Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours. Remove chicken from pot and serarate meat from bone; set aside. M NOTES : Cranberries add a slightly tangy flavor to slow cooked chicken dishes. The berries tend to dissolve so they are not noticeable. With the addition of a little brown sugar the chicken takes on a slightly sweet and sour taste. this dish is good. Email this Recipe:
