This relish has a fresh taste, vibrant red color and midlevel sweetness. If you prefer yours extra sweet or slightly tart, just scale the maple syrup up or down by a quarter of a cup. 1. In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cover and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens and fruits are quite soft, about 20 minutes. 2. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
