Instructions: This time I used half a bag of cranberries, 3/4 cup of sugar, 4 tablespoons applesauce and water to just cover - cook for a couple of minutes in a saucepan. Let cool. Add juice of 2 lemons. Freeze in ice cream maker per instructions. This was pretty sweet, just barely tart.
It freezes hard so either use it right away or chop off chunks to serve. Email this Recipe:
