5 lb potatoes peeled, diced and cooked until tender
1 pkt sour cream (16 oz.)
1 pkt cream cheese (8 oz.)
1/2 cup butter
2 tsp salt to taste
Instructions:
Instructions: Peel, dice and boil potatoes until tender. Drain well. Mash potatoes with remaining ingredients and season to taste with salt an pepper. Turn into a greased 2-2 1/2 quart baking dish. Dot with additional butter. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

NOTES : Cindy Says: Actually these are good any time of year, and best of all they can be made ahead and refrigerated! For Thanksgiving I usually make them on Tuesday evening and they are ready to pop into the oven as soon as the turkey comes out. The flavor and texture are wonderful!
