Instructions: Make the pastry by creaming together the cheese, butter and sugar until soft. Sift over the flour and mix until combined and you can form a ball. Leave to rest in the fridge while you make the filling.
Mix the walnuts, cinnmaon and brown sugar. Divide the pastry in half and roll into a circle approx 28cm (11 inches) in diameter. Brush the surface with the egg white glaze and sprinkle with half the filling. Cut the cirlce as if it were pizza into 16 triangles. Starting for the base of the triangles roll up to form spirals. Place on a greased baking sheet and brush with the remaining glaze. Bake at 190?C/375?F/gas mark 5 for 15-20 minutes until golden. Repeat with the outer half of the pastry. Email this Recipe:
