Instructions: Combine all ingredients except egg yolks. Cook over medium-low heat. When mixture starts to thicken, slowly add beaten egg yolks. Cook until creamy and slightly thick. Pour into an uncooked pie shell. Beat egg whites with some cream of tartar until fluffy. Place on pie and bake until browned.
