2 lb small red potatoes
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup whipping cream
ground nutmeg
salt and pepper
1 pkt frozen petit peas (16 oz.) thawed
Instructions:
Instructions: Cook potatoes in salted water till tender; drain, cool, cut in quarters. Melt butter in heavy large saucepan over low heat. Add flour, whisk until mixture bubbles and thickens; about 3 minutes.

DO NOT BROWN

Slowly whisk in milk. Bring to simmer, whisking often; sauce will be thick. Add cream. Simmer until very thick, stirring for about 10 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper, and nutmeg;mix in potatoes, mix peas and onions into sauce. Cook over medium heat until vegetables are heated
