1 pkt cream cheese softened, 3 oz.
1/2 cup chopped peaches
2 tbl pecans chopped
1 tbl honey
6 x french bread slices 1 - 1/2" thick
2 x eggs
1/2 cup half and half
Instructions:
Instructions: In small bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add peaches, pecans and honey. Blend well. Cut pocket in top rounded edge of each bread slice. Carefully fill each with 1 - 1/2 tablespoons of cheese mixture. Heat large skillet or griddle to 350 . In shallow bowl or pie pan, slightly beat eggs. Add half and half and vanilla; mix well.

Lightly grease heated skillet. Being careful not to squeeze filled slices, dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides. Cook in skillet over medium heat about 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. If desired, serve with butter, additional sliced fresh fruit and honey or maple syrup. Tip: For a strawberry variation, chopped strawberries may be substituted for peaches,
