Instructions: ** In small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add garlic and stir in for about a minute. NO longer. Dont burn or it will be bitter. Pour butter and garlic into mashed potatoes and combine well with potatoes.**
Preheat Oven to 325 Degrees F. Spread potatoes evenly in a lightly greased 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish. Spread sour cream on top of potatoes. Sprinkle bacon and green onion over all. Top with cheese.
