Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
167/1000 cup (1/3 stick) butter (optional)
1 x or 2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed, peeled, minced fine (optional)
3 x (2*) cups fresh or leftover mashed potatoes
1 ctn (8 oz 6 oz sour cream (low fat is OK, but dont use NO FAT)
5 slc bacon (5 to 6 slices), cooked, drained and crumbled
3 sm green onions, trimmed, peeled, sliced thin
Instructions:
Instructions: ** In small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add garlic and stir in for about a minute. NO longer. Dont burn or it will be bitter. Pour butter and garlic into mashed potatoes and combine well with potatoes.**

Preheat Oven to 325 Degrees F.

Spread potatoes evenly in a lightly greased 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish.

Spread sour cream on top of potatoes. Sprinkle bacon and green onion over all. Top with cheese.

Bake potatoes at 325 F for 30 minutes.

* Smaller amount is for a smaller casserole.

*U This step is omitted if you do not want Garlic Potatoes.

Serve hot. ENJOY!
