1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup instant rice uncooked
4 x skinless boneless chicken breast halves
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbl chopped green pepper
1 x clove garlic chopped fine
1/2 tsp dried basil
Instructions:
Instructions: Combine 3/4 cup water and salt in a small sucepan. Bring to aboil. Remove from heat, stir in the rice, cover and let stand 5 min. Keep warm while you make the chicken.

Coat a large nonstick skillet with vegetable oil cooking spray. Place over med. heat until hot. Add the chicken and cook until brown and tender, about 10 to 12 min., turning once. Add the tomato sauce, onion, green pepepr, garlic, basil, pepper, and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce the heat, and simmer 6 min., stirring occasionally. Serve with the rice.
