Instructions: Slice chilled cheese and dip into beaten egg, then coat with seasoned bread crumbs. Saute in a nonstick skillet over medium high heat containing 1 teaspoon butter melted with 1 teaspoon olive oil. Turn to brown slightly on all sides ( 30 seconds each side) until cheese is soft to the touch. Serve warm.
Cut into cubes to top a salad or slice into sticks and serve as an appetizer. Sliced pears and apples make a great accompaniment. Email this Recipe:
