1 x 10-ounce package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
2 x slightly beaten eggs
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1/2 cup milk
2 tbl soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp bottled hot pepper sauce

Instructions: Mushroom sauce

Drain spinach; combine with eggs, bread crumbs, milk, soy sauce, salt and hot pepper sauce. Add beef; mix well. Shape into round loaf slightly smaller in diameter than crockery cooker. Lay two 15 x 2-inch strips of foil (double thickness) crisscross fashion across bottom and up sides of cooker. Place loaf atop, not touching sides. Cover; cook on high-heat setting for 4 hours. Use foil strips as lifters to remove loaf from cooker to serving platter. Serve with Mushroom sauce.

MUSHROOM SAUCE

In saucepan combine one 3-ounce can sliced mushrooms, undrained and 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour. Stir in 1 cup dairy sour cream and 2 tablespoons snipped chives. Cook and stir in 1 cup dairy sour cream and 2 tablespoons snipped chives. Cook and stir just till t hickened. Do not boil.

Makes 1 1/2 cups sauce.
