Instructions: Put the turkey breast in the crock pot. Sprinkle it with any desired seasonings. The ones listed are the ones I use. Dab the butter on the breast. Pour the water over all. Cook on low overnight, about 10 hours. In the morning put the turkey, still in the crockpot, in the refrigerator for the day. At dinner time, remove the turkey from the juices. Defat, deskin and debone the turkey. Slice it and microwave it to serving temperature. Strain the juices and thicken for gravy.
NOTES : I stuck this in the crock pot this morning. I wasnt sure whether we would eat it tonight or tomorrow. When I got home it was done and we decided to have it tomorrow with a crockpot stuffing recipe I just got off one of the lists. I of course had to nibble as I removed the skin and bones, and it is wonderful and moist, and there is some wonderful stock leftover for soup or something. This is such an easy and fuss-free way to do a turkey breast. Email this Recipe:
