8 cup	applesauce
4 cup	sugar
4 tsp	cinnamon
2 tsp	allspice
2 tsp	nutmeg

Instructions:

Instructions: Stir all ingredients together well in a large bowl. Place in crockpot and cook, UNCOVERED, on high for 6 to 7 hours. It isnt necessary to stir it.

Place in sterilized jars and seal in a water bath for 10 minutes. May also be kept refrigerated or frozen.

NOTES : With a crockpot and a huge can of applesauce (from the warehouse store) you can can make easy homemade apple butter very easily, without the constant stirring.
