Amount Ingredient
2 lb solid beef roast, rolled rump
or sirloin tip - (to 3 lbs)
2 tbl oil
1/2 cup catsup
1 tbl vinegar
Couple drops of hot sauce
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 x garlic clove or more to taste
2 tbl molasses
1 tbl Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
Instructions: In a large skillet, heat oil; brown roast on all sides. Drain fat. Place meat in the crock pot.

Into drippings add the remaining ingredients. Heat this all together and pour over the meat in the crock pot. Cook in crock pot on HIGH for 1 hour. Cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours more.

Slice when meat is warm, not necessarily hot.

Makes great sandwiches, French dips, etc. Remove garlic clove before serving. Freezes well.
