Amount Ingredient
2 lb Venison cut into cubes,
all fat and membrane removed
3 slc Bacon chopped
1 lb White northern beans
2 qt Water
1 can Beef broth
1 med Onion chopped
1 cup Chopped celery
1/2 cup Carrots grated
1 tbl Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp Garlic powder
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Instructions: Soak beans overnight in water and drain. Place soaked beans in crockpot with water, beef broth, onion, celery, carrots, Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Brown venison and bacon in skillet and add to crockpot. Cook on high for four hours, then turn back to low for two hours or until ready to serve. Fried potatoes and onions make a good side dish along with cornbread.
