12 slc diagonal-cut baguette, 1/3"-thk
3 oz blue cheese room temperature
(such as Gorgonzola, Roquefort, or Maytag blue)
1/2 cup hazelnuts toasted, husked,
and coarsely chopped
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place baguette slices in single layer on baking sheet. Toast in oven until golden, about 8 minutes. (Can be made 4 hours ahead.)

Spread blue cheese on baguette slices. Sprinkle hazelnuts over each. Drizzle each slice lightly with honey.

This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.

Comments: These little toasts are nice before dinner or alongside a green salad.
