Instructions: In a small skillet over low heat, cook the garlic cloves with 1 teaspoon of the oil until the garlic is golden on all sides. Remove from heat and cool.
Place the egg, lemon juice, salt and 1 tablespoon of the oil in a blender or food processor. Process until blended. With the motor running, drop the garlic cloves into the machine, then add the balance of the oil in a thin steady stream. Continue processing until thickened. Spoon into a small bowl.
